I am back from JJC orientation camp 2008.
Yeah, indeed, i probably didn't regret attending it?
I was so excited because it was day1! It was the first time i'm taking a bus to school since 4 years ago! However, the damn bus was so full i was almost late for school,not because i woke up late but i waited for the bus for 50mins!! I was suppose to be in school by 7am but i took a cab at 6.50am.
However, day1 was really like shit. Noella asked if we wanted to escape midway BUT unfortunately, the gates were locked.
Especially when we're singing the national anthem, i really sang out like an idiot. (4yrs of singing out loud in westwood, can't help it)Then, i realised nobody was singing, only mouthing the words. SO paisei man.
I went into the OG group feeling so mega, ultra, lonely so i just randomly picked someone sitting behind me and made my first new friend, DIXON from nanhua sec. My first sentence to him was "eh,very boring/lonely leh,i want to go home". Then, tada, i made a friend, without knowing his name:D
Yeah, then i saw jolyn(css) talking to rachel(mgs), and i was like, wthhhh,i want to talk too!! So i turned and gave a sparstic smile. It didn't work at first, but then i became their friends. Went to toilet together and bought the same drinks and stuffs.
The next friend i made was due to the blunder i made. This person(uss) was sitting beside me during OG lunch and i proudly/confidently went, "I KNOW, YOU'RE FROM BUKIT PANJANG GOVERNMENT HIGH!" He gave a sharp response "No." Then there was silence. From that moment, i knew that we cannot mess around with this guy because he was fierce!(he turned out to be crappy like mad)
Then, there was nicholette(fmss),huiyi(scss) and jingxian(ctss) smiling(in my heart i was like, omgggg,yay!). After that, the 8 girls became really close together:) When we did self introduction, i was like "my name is melissa, from westwood sec". I BET they were thinking "wth is westwood". Confirm one la!
Still, I don't really have partner la, then zhengan(scss) did her self intro to me, i was so excited la(because i've got a partner already!)
The guys were damn(DAO,as what the girls like to say)/cold towards us. Okay, maybe except wilson. He made the group lively a little at the beginning and daojun leading the cheer. I remembered when i was back in sec school, when someone from our team leads, we will get very excited but this didnt happen then, lol! I was about to cheer for them but i told myself to NOT cheer first, dont wanna make a fool out of myself again:D Wilson that urgh, i will remember him for life, he smacked my laps till they turned red+blueblack, now my laps look like i've got some illness man! It was handiplus game(all of us kept whacking each other laps, actually no, only some, especially HIM, im super unlucky to sit beside him! In the end, all the guys were actually super fun/lame/hyper/friendly people!
Anyway, yeah, next sparstic friend i made was JAYSTINE(never call wrongly now!)(gesss)I was calling her name in the morning asking if she was alright because she sneezed throughout the night. Guess what, i went "Jayslin! Jayslin!" which was obviously wrong, no wonder she didn't bother to turn to look at me. Heh Heh(with that evil smile jingxian said i've got), i slept with jaystine on the 2nd night, kicked each other and talked crap, but i fell asleep first, lol!
I brushed my teeth with Huimui and Rachel in the morning at the water cooler:D
Despite the red river, i played the water games la, got so damn wet like i've never been wet before. Now i understand why we need to pay 70 bucks, not for the food/accomodation, its for the water supply fees!! They used helllll lotssssssss of water. People were like shouting, "INCOMING" because water bombs kept flying about in the air and it might just land on our head, water hoses were there, spraying at everyone. Soaps were there, it might just end up on our hair when we're not watching(like me-.-). Those muddy water,darn! They were MILO, NOT MUD!! I guess there were a lot of preparation done, without the burden of having budget to buy stuffs.
Huiyi,Jingxian,wilson,kuanming,daojun,dixon and me formed the auntiesgang, because the OGL caught us chitchatting/gossiping about how we knew each other:D
Not to forget shili(nhh), i got to find out more about her after talking to her. She's a smarty but don't wanna continue schooling in jc, she wanna go to poly, just like pera(a mixed blood,cool right)(bvss). Not to forget lin shan being a bass in choir in kranji sec, he attacked me because im a sop-.- Oh, while singing beside chengyi during the song-singing session, i realised he could sing super well, i asked him to join lin shan and i! His good friend, joseph who did not pespire(and agreed that facebook was a kuku site),alfred who is a xiaoshuaige(handsome little guy) like what jiayi said. Keep laughing for nothing one! Uhm, the two guys that were super funny were kenneth and dixon no2. Kenneth(the one with the same dance pose, very funny one!) And dixon who purposely acted like a pro in scissors, paper, stone but lost thrice in a row. LOL. These two, good results but don't know why they came here. They were full of crap also la. HUIMUI, the one!!! I recognized that she was from hillgrove, vp of hillgrove student council! Gosh, so shocked to see her:D She was really nice la, woke me up in the morning, massage for me,heh heh. Kuan ming, who told me to become an OGL. LOL, he thinks i'm mad..Jeffrey from sji, he got sick, so he didn't join us most of the times,aww. My dance partner, zhi yang, he knew i couldn't dance and i always messed up my steps, so he heck care and bullshitted with me throughout the entire dance,ahahah. I was really glad to see all of them opened up to talk as time passed, played games like murderer(i got caught super fast-.- plus all the super innocent people are always the murderers) and double wacko. Hugged and sang songs, jumped and dance like mad, cried and wipe like ----?Nevertheless, we cheered like we've never cheered before gradually!!! WOO!! We learned to open up to the friends that were strangers at first. Thanks to who? OGLs of course (jiayi,jevon,shihui,michelle,meixin,jiajing) Didn't thank them just now because i was super shy. Still, they contributed much more than what i used to do when i fascillitate in my sec school camps. I have to learn from their spirits, truly. Jiajing,michelle,shihui and jiayi who taught the cheers like mad but we refuse to respond at first. They are the ones who kept the OG lively and strong! Jevon who waited for the girls patiently outside the ulu ulu toilet and never complained when the girls said/asked anything. Meixin who kept caring for our safety and offered her food when she felt that we would not have enough. Okay, this is like an essay. OH YEAH, the jj night was awesome, the leaders were fantastic. See la, we just started having fun, and the fun just ended like that! From next monday onwards, i'm gonna be a loner AGAIN! Nobody's going to the same class as me:( Another important thing to include!! I met like more than 15 primary school classmates!! They were like everywhere!! (SHIVA AND VANI!) For 2 days, i went to school with hiongyong and pengyang too. Aiya, ending with pictures!OG18!OLA!
